Review originally written July 2016.
Mummy of three, Kerry, started KeriKitbags in 2015 whilst on maternity leave with twins, yes TWINS!
With that much will and determination, it is no surprise that the bags she designs are luxurious, high quality leather changing bags that are made to last long after they have outgrown nappies and tantrums.
I was lucky enough to review the beautiful, baby blue Oscar.
leather is super soft and the style and design is without compromise.
I have never been stopped so much, as when I took him, yes him, out. People commented on how beautiful the colour was and how it was something they had not seen before.
I am currently plus 1 child, however with the second little mini due in a few weeks I have found it increasingly hard to get anywhere quickly. So having one bag packed for every eventuality has become a must have, on top of this it has to be hands free. A back pack is definitely one of the most amazing designs for hands free toddler taming and enables for equal distribution of weight across my struggling back.
We need to have a slightly bigger bag when it comes to a changing bag, as Florence has several allergies, of which she has dairy and egg anaphylaxis. Therefore, when we look for a bag it has to be big enough for her allergy medication bag plus for all of the extra ingredients which stop a toddler meltdown in an instant. Call on the obvious colouring/sticker books, fruit sweets, drink, dinosaurs/fairy crowns etc.
This bag however, revolutionised our need for the extra medication bag and in fact we could hold all of her medication within the pockets handily placed on the outside. Giving ease of access but safety stored.
I love the versatility and design of this bag. The logo is discrete and let’s people know this is a quality kerikit bag, and with the additional travel tags (which can be personalised) it goes from changing bag to travel bag in an instant.
My mother, who is my best friend and tells me the truth, often in her non filtered own way, absolutely loved it. In her own words “This bag would be brilliant for travelling, for work, as well as being able to fit all those extras you need to keep on you as a nana”.
It just shows that Keri has designed this bag with every woman in mind and although primarily a changing bag is more than that. It is a bag, and a brand which does not compromise.
Keri doesn’t compromise on style, quality or functionality and completely disperses any age barriers in preference of these. It truly is a bag for mums who don’t compromise.
I have my eye on the new collection, and cannot wait to see such a strong and determined mummy take the changing bag world by storm.
